Screen Gems put out a action/thriller flick named "Resident Evil 4: Afterlife" into theaters. I watched it,and I thought the movie was very good despite bad critic reviews. It was very entertaining and exciting exactly like the first three. It features: Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Shawn Roberts, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, Wentworth Miller, and Sienna Guillory.
"Resident Evil 4: Afterlife" revolved around a female named Alice (Jovovich) who ends up returning to Los Angeles,CA after finding out that not one person is in the town of Arcadia where there are supposed to be survivors. However, she does find her past buddy Claire (Larter) before heading out of Arcadia.
They eventually locate a few survivors in Los Angeles among a crowd of thousands of undead just waiting to tear into them. They reveal to Alice that Arcadia actually is a huge cargo boat that's floating on the ocean. From there on out, their mission was to escape L . A . and get to Arcadia. However, it wasn't easy and a few folks got killed on the way.
When they finally made it to Arcadia, they realize things aren't quite like they thought it might be,and they also ran into fresh dangers that led to a very exciting, suspenseful finish, which gave possible hints that this franchise may perhaps see yet another sequel.
The film supplied tons of action-filled,suspenseful moments that included: Alice destroying lots of Umbrella Corp security officers,Claire and Alice battling a giant huge monster slinging a prolonged sharp blade, and the usual gun slinging scenes where they had to shoot up many undead zombies or be murdered.
I really liked watching the film. The film was never bland, and delivered lots of excitement. The film critics thought it was one Resident Evil to many, but I don't care as long as it was entertaining. I really think Mila Jovovich and Ali Larter did great. They are both a pair of sexy, action ladies. I totally wouldn't mind seeing them a lot more. I gave the film a solid B rating.
