A Guide On Choosing Hilarious Short Stories

By Irma Villarreal

Hilarious short stories are great to have around when you are hanging out with friends and you have ran out of topics to talk about it. You can use this as an ice breaker when you will go to a party or you want to make new friends. This can be handy after having a fine meal with a family and you just want to make them laugh.

Funny stories can come in different forms. This can be something that you or other people have experienced or you have probably read it while you are browsing the internet. Some are even creative enough to make something up.

Sharing something hilarious is not as easy as you think it is because some people may not be able to connect with what you are saying. If you want it to work, you have to keep it simple and short. Making it too long or complicated can be confusing to the listeners and will just be boring instead of entertaining.

Another thing to consider is to know the people that you are going to be talking to because you might hurt other people's feelings with your joke. If you do not much about the people that you are talking with, as much as possible avoid stories that bore on sensitive topic like religion, race, and political belief.

Aside from those that you are talking to, make sure that your story is appropriate for the kind of occasion that you are in. Although this may not matter at all times, it still pays if you will take note of this when you are going to attend a certain event and you will be the speaker.

A good story teller will always have a lot of stories handy just in case he would need it to entertain those around him. If you want to be this kind of person, there are different sources that you can use. The internet, books, and personal experience are a few examples.

You can keep the people around you in a cheerful mood with the help of hilarious short stories. Laughing has always been the medicine around for it can lower the blood pressure and can lessen your stress levels. So the next time you have something good in mind, share it to the group so they can have a laugh or two. Hilarious Short Stories
