Confessions Of A Modern Family Fan

By Jennie G. Hall

Recently I became hooked on Modern Family. It's an incredible show. I actually watch it on the web, meaning I can watch any episode I want to, anytime of the day or night. I can watch any episode from Season 1 or 2.

In fact I've spent quite a few late night hours on my new found infatuation, but I don't regret a moment. These amusing episodes crack me up. I find myself in a a lot better humor after enjoying and I don't mind saying, I love to discuss the ins and outs with my buddies at the workplace.

Among my favorite all time Modern Family episodes comes from season 1. It's called Fizbo and it is focused on Cameron's appearance at Luke's birthday celebration as Fizbo the clown. This has to be what earned Eric Stonestreet the Emmy in season one. Fizbo just about crashes Luke's bash and sets in motion a number of unintentional catastrophes that lands Luke in the emergency room with a broken arm. The massive birthday celebration disaster happens to be Luke's favorite birthday celebration ever.

Yet another excellent Modern Family episode comes from season two and it's known as Mother Trucker. Manny's tries to analyze Jay's condition only makes him feel even worse. Mitch feels terrible when Cameron's mother rolls into town for a an unexpected visit. He complains that she won't keep her hands off of him and it creeps him out. Phil is so distressed by Haley's breakup with Dylan that he, once again can't keep from trying to show how stylish he is.

Another great season two episode is called Dance Dance Revelation and it is about Luke and Manny's first school dance. Everybody joins in to help out and things begin to unravel in one hilarious crisis after another. Jay and Phil visit the mall to find new dance outfits and find themselves arguing about the rights of manhood. At the same time Claire and Gloria mix things up on the school dance board. As the big dance gets under way Gloria and Claire come to blows in a comical exchange in the restroom.

I get a real kick out of viewing Modern Family episodes. I am unable to help myself from relating to a great majority of the activities that come up in each and every show. And the best part is I don't find the need to sit through relentless and monotonous hours of prime time news shows anymore. Now I can settle-back and surf up a few Modern Family shows. It's really a fresh new change to leave the negative news behind and watch Modern Family online. I makes me feel better about every day life and the issues we all must go through.
